I like to be on the leading edge of creation, where there is magic, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. That’s where I found that I come alive.
When I started the year 2025, I got a strong intuition asking me to embrace the impermanence of life, and I spoke about it in one of my episodes.
Little did I know that change was also going to knock on my door and knock me out of my comfort zone.
There is something about change (especially one that you could not anticipate in a million years) that triggers valid fears of uncertainty.
The path doesn’t seem so straight anymore.
In fact, you can only see a few steps at a time; the rest of the way seems foggy.
I am in the 2nd quarter of life (assuming I live to be 100 years old).
This second quarter has been asking something different from me.
As a non-conformist and a leader, I always take “the path not taken,” even when it’s scary for many.
This time, however, the uncertainty is not coming from inside me; it’s coming from the outside. You can feel and touch it in the ethers.
Change is here whether we like it or not.
Uncertainty can challenge, overwhelm, distract, or shrink us… there are many ways we would respond to uncertainty because of our unique personalities.
If you are facing uncertainty at this time, the key is to notice how you are responding to it. And then ask, “Why am I responding this way?” And keep asking the 7 Whys until you get to the root of your fears.
And then sit in the discomfort and embrace what comes up. And then choose consciously how you respond and what actions you take moving forward.
It doesn’t matter how enlightened you may be; sitting in the discomfort is uncomfortable. But like all emotions/feelings, eventually they pass after you acknowledge and recognize them.
It is dawning on me that some of the biggest changes of my entire life are happening within these 24 months that started in October last year. And I am starting to get comfortable in the unknown.
After one of the busiest months I have had all year, I am taking some time off to reconnect with nature. To me, Mother Nature is the great nourisher.
What is calling inside of me is to be still in the in-between even when the path seems foggy.
My mantra for my time off is
I am a vessel of wisdom.
I am guided by truth.
I release what no longer resonates.
I rest in divine clarity.
I trust in divine timing
I hope that you too can create some time to reconnect with what matters to you.
Many blessings and talk to you soon.
